Some Schools Have Programs to Help Autistic Students
The following is a supplement my article in the November, 2003 issue of Autism-Asperger's Digest on selecting a college for a person on the autistic spectrum. Below is more detailed information supplied by some colleges. Asperger Colleges.
This club is for college studens who have Asperger's syndrome or high-functioning autism to meet and counsel one another. A second, equally important, purpose is to serve younger people who have plans for college. Thirdly, relatives, spouses, and instructors of Asperger's/HF autism sufferers can use the other members as a resource for helping their loved ones or students overcome their unique obstacles and (finally?) achieve to a level commensurate with their ability and effort.
